Onshore Wind Lidar
ZephIR 300 wind lidar is used extensively through the pre-planning / scoping, planning, development, construction and operational phases of an onshore wind energy project in combination with short met masts and tall met masts and associated cup anemometers, roaming during site-prospecting, stand-alone in replacement of a met mast and as a fixed reference control mast.
With our extensive experience in the industry, we are able to support you with a range of Support Packages designed to make remote wind measurement and data collection both simple and user-friendly.
Data Loggers and Communication Systems
A mix of I/O modules is selected based on the measurements required for the application. We offer a large variety of modules. Individual I/O modules can be swapped out, allowing the system to be reconfigured if requirements change.
I/O modules from Campbell Scientific whose model numbers end in an E (e.g., CR9051E, CR9055E) and the CR9052DC include an easy connector module. Easy connector modules allow sensor wiring to remain connected while the input module’s measurement electronics and the rest of the datalogger system are used elsewhere.
Ideal for applications that do not require wind direction measurements, these meters are compatible with all Campbell Scientific dataloggers (including the CR200(X) series). They are ideal for wind profile studies and designed for continuous, long term, unattended operation in adverse conditions
They are compatible with the LLAC4 4-channel Low Level AC Conversion Module, which increases the number of anemometers one datalogger can measure. The Campbell Scientific version uses shielded bearings, which lowers the anemometer's starting threshold
